Nice level walking riding lanes. A short 6-10 minute walk to the Wai 'Opae Marine
Conservation District, where one can swim and snorkel in protected waters with many
varieties of fish and beautiful corals. The Ahalanui warm ponds with thermally heated
tidal waters are less than two miles away on the Red Road, and family activities
are available at Isaac Hale State Park another 2 miles down the road. Kalapana and
the Kilauea Volcano lava viewing areas are 7 more miles up the Red Road.
